WSM measure shunts are designed for precise current impulse measurement. They are used in short circuit testing devices, and during motors start up.

In comparison to other methods, WSM has wide bandwidth. There is no extra electronics and they do not need power supply. They have great EMC properties as well as good construction, which allows to use them in hard conditions.
