Three-phase thyristor rectifiers of the PT3F series

Three-phase thyristor rectifiers of the PT3F series 30÷200 A

Rectifier PT3F sets allow the construction of six-pulse rectifiers with voltage or current regulation in a wide range of supply voltages. The controller is adapted to cooperate with various types of regulators with typical input signal values of 0÷10 V or 4÷20 mA. A blocking input facilitates connection of the controller with a safety automation system.

Performance advantages of thyristor rectifiers

  • convenient mounting and wiring in control cabinets
  • high level of passive safety of the operator ensured by shielding of conductive parts
  • easy fuse replacement
  • visual check of the correctness of the rectifier control
  • localization of damage without the use of measuring instruments
  • easy repair in case of damage

Outstanding durability is achieved through:

  • selection of thyristors for anticipated loads and operating conditions
  • use of a heat sink to ensure optimum thermal conditions for the thyristors
  • use of RC suppressors to reduce switching surges
  • incorporation of fast fuses in the starter design for short-circuit protection of thyristors
