What is a pressure transducer?

Pressure transducers, also called pressure sensors, are devices used for measuring the pressure of gases or liquids - the process physical value of pressure and change it into a different signal e.g. analog or digital. This type of transducers have analog outputs, numerous types of junctions and are constructed depending on their purpose.

Applications of pressure transducers:

  • Hygienic installations, sanitary applications;
  • heating networks and systems;
  • pipe systems, pumps;
  • machine construction, hydraulics, pneumatics;
  • shipbuilding;
  • pharmaceutical industry, cosmetological and food industry; 
  • HVAC
  • air compressor;
  • biotechnological processes.

Pressure transducers can also be equipped with various types of pressure sensors and can be constructed with various types of materials and shapes of enclosures e.g. stainless steel, plastics, rectangular enclosures.
