Alper-011 PVC IP67 heating mats

  • Alper-011

Alper's ultra-thin flexible PVC mats are manufactured using PTF-PET heating technology, embedded between two electrowelded PVC layers using a high-frequency process. The heating element is approximately 2 mm thick, providing the product with considerable strength and durability.

Horticultural Applications

PVC heating mats are a useful addition to horticulture—especially in conjunction with small DIY greenhouses and other growing kits. They facilitate seed germination and seedling propagation, creating a comfortable environment even at lower temperatures during the winter months.

Terrariums, Aquariums, and Pets

Reptile terrariums and aquariums require adequate heating to provide a healthy environment for small animals. Heat is radiated through the surface, simulating the effects of the sun. Heated dog and cat kennels improve animal comfort, and small cold-blooded animals benefit from reptile heating mats – their natural habitat is recreated by maintaining temperatures appropriate for their metabolism.

Barrel Heating Belt

Thanks to their long and narrow shape, PVC heating belts fit perfectly around barrels; they do not require thermal regulation, as the temperature remains at around 20°C. Electric PVC heating belts accelerate the fermentation of wine and beer without altering the flavor of the beverages.

Industry and Accessories

Alper PVC mats are also used in various industrial processes where a heat source is required. A thermostat with fuses and temperature limiters can be added to the heating elements. Production in special series, even in small quantities, is possible – a promise of flexibility from Alper, which has optimized its production capacity to develop new products according to customer requests.

Construction

Alper heating mats are manufactured by embedding a PET heating film between two electrowelded PVC layers using a high-frequency process. The PVC coating is a hydrophobic material and protects the system from minor splashes. This feature makes flexible PVC heaters ideal as heating mats for greenhouses, seed germination, and the cultivation of flowers and seedlings.

Additional Applications

Heating mats for dogs are another application that is important for animal comfort, serving to heat kennels in outdoor conditions. Small cold-blooded animals benefit from reptile mats – their natural habitat is recreated by maintaining the appropriate temperature. Heating belts for home brewing wine, beer, and kombucha adapt to the barrels and facilitate the process without affecting the flavor of the liquids.

Production Options

PVC mats can be used in DIY projects and industrial processes where heating is required. A thermostat with fuses and temperature limiters can be added upon request. Production can be carried out in special batches, even in small quantities – Alper promises flexibility to develop new products according to customer requests.
