Oil mists separators, also called oil mist eliminators or demisters, are filter systems used in environments with power generating engines or turbines, for instance areas with power plants and refineries. The turbine bearings are commonly lubricated with oil to guarantee their trouble-free operation; however, during the working process of the turbine the severe heat is generated and creates droplets of oil mist. These particles, without the oil mist separator, can escape into the air and cause damage and oil film around the halls.
