Alper-007 PTC Ink Heaters

Alper promotes PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) technology. A special carbon ink with a PTC effect is screen-printed onto a flexible and thin PET substrate. This "self-limiting" heater reaches the temperature specified by the PTC ink without exceeding it.

How does Alper's PTC heater work? As the system temperature increases, the PTC heater increases its resistivity, which leads to a decrease in its power.

Alper heaters printed with PTC ink feature intelligent technology. Alper heating elements printed with PTC ink are self-limiting – as the system temperature increases, the PTC heater increases its resistivity, which leads to a decrease in its power. This feature, which distinguishes these flexible Alper heaters, makes them suitable for even the most specific and delicate applications, such as those in contact with skin and textiles. The PTC ink heater does not require any additional external temperature limiters.

This makes the heater as thin as foil and reduces production costs, allowing for more favorable prices.

Customizable and Long-lasting

Upon request, the product can be self-adhesive, even partially, and can be equipped with any type of cable and connector.
