Ferrite cores are a part of our product offer in the category of transformers.
Ferrite cores - application
Ferrite cores can be applied in many fields focused on technologies. Cores are mostly used in areas such as digital and analogue data transfer in computers and wires. In automatic systems however, ferrite cores are responsible for minimizing disconnecting effects. Additionally, cores can be applied in production of low-profile, low-signal, separation, controlling, broadband transformers, and also power supplies. They are also used for inverter production.
The extent of using cores is very broad and depending on the used ferrite material, their shape and size.
Types of ferrite cores
Ferrite core can be used in different applications, thus comes in many shapes and configurations. Most popular cores come in E versions and its types like EFD and ETD. We distinguish versions of shapes and configurations EI, EF, EP, ER, PQ, RM, UI. Similarly, we differentiate and use cup cores type P, planar cores type EE and EI, and annular cores R.
Ferrite cores type EE and EF
These cores have a simple shape and square section of columns. Re commonly used in production of transformers and power glands, anti-disruptions glands for pulse power supply, separation transformers, broadband, and for current compressed glands.
Ferrite cores ER and ETD
Cores with square form with round middle column, used in transformers and glands for pulse power supplies.
Ferrite cores EFD
Cores with square shape are mostly used in low-profile transformers, working in high frequencies.
Ferrite cores EP
EP cores are recommended for low-signal and power transformers, providing low disruptions' emission due to closed shape.
Ferrite cores PQ
PQ are characterized by solid and closed construction with a round middle column, providing optimal use of winding surface; used in inverters AC/DC and DC/DC.
Ferrite cores RM
Middle column with a round section and closed form - providing low disruption emission with a high rate of filling. These types of cores are recommended for production of transformers and glands for pulse power supplies and in telecommunication.
Ferrite cores UI and UU
Regular shape and simplicity of montage make them perfect for use in production of transformers and high-power glands, converters and anti-disruption glands.
Cup ferrite cores P
Cup ferrite cores P have a round, closed construction and are characterized by perfect magnetic display. They are used in pulse and broadband transformers and rezonanse systems.
Planar cores EE and EI
The construction allows for direct montage on PCB plate with using printed paths as winding. This type of cores is used for low-profile transformers and glands.
Annular cores R
Annular cores have a toroid shape and closed magnetic and low dissipation induction. This type of cores can be used e.g. in pulse transformers and anti-disruption glands.
We also handle special requests
We’ve been delivering cores for over 25 years. Likewise, we are a reliable partner for many suppliers locally and internationally. Furthermore, we handle special purchases and can recommend production of cores based on our clients’ projects.
