Bonding copper and its alloys

A common service job we face is welding different types of metals together to create a permanent bond, or to service a worn out or damaged part.

The bonding of metals and their alloys can use a variety of available methods and technologies, but the most popular are:

• brazing with torch (for copper and its alloys: acetylene-oxygen);
• brazing with the use of induction heating (e.g. in the nitrogen atmosphere);

For soldering processes we use silver-based solders such as pure silver, AgCu28, LS45, or brass-based solders.

Through the development of technology used in the service, with emphasis on induction heating, we are able to carry out even the most complex service work in the field of metal bonding and brazing.
