EDM extensions are used if the walls where the circular cable glands are to be installed are thicker than those normally used. The standard version allows installation in thicknesses up to 45 mm (ETD 63- 50) although it is always possible to use more units by doubling the depth. The material used (SS304) allows uses even very heavy and with walls that are not perfectly smooth
