We're offering a rich assortment of various incremental encoders from Fenac - durable devices, possible to be adjusted to a given application.

Encoders are also called movement control sensors - their usage in the industry allows e.g. precise identifying machine elements, rotation angle, acceleration, movement direction, and speed. Additionally, they can also provide diagnostic information about durability or errors. Encoders convert mechanical movement into an electric signal.

Encoders can be divided into: linear and rotary. Incremental encoders include an arbor with a code shield, two bearings, which are in max distance from each other, scanning system, an electronic system, which forms an output signal. 

There are also encoders intended for use in hazardous areas, having certificates such as ATEX, IECEx, TÜV, for areas 1 and 2, areas with big loads, resistant to corrosion, vibrations, and shocks.
