Standards

  • Inspired by American aeronautical standards: SAE.AS1055 and AS1072.
  • IEC 60695-2-10 and IEC 60695-2-11.

General Characteristics

  • Continuous operating temperature: -60 °C to +260 °C.
  • Peaks:
    • 30 min at 800 °C.
    • 15 min at 1100 °C.
    • 1 min at 1500 °C.
  • Classification R22-R23 HL1, HL2 and HL3 as per EN 45545-2.
  • The thick braid ensures thermal protection.
  • The silicone coating ensures episodic resistance to flames and watertightness.
  • Excellent flexibility at low temperature: SILITUBE® X does not harden, chip off, or soften.
  • Slight swelling when hydrocarbons are present.
  • Very good flexibility.

Applications

  • Protection and insulation of electric wiring harnesses, water, gas, compressed air or hydraulic fluid pipes, against aggression (presence of flames, projections of melting metals or glass, very high episodic temperatures, steam projections, etc.).
  • Industries:
