For the refinement of the cloths we provide various coatings (see below). The packings are also available with an impregnation with Fireblocker™.

Properties

  • extremely high temperature resistance:
        +1200°C application temperature
        +1600°C decomposition temperature
  • good dielectric properties
  • good chemical resistance except for phosphoric and hydrofloric acid
  • toxicologically harmless
  • no itching
  • no organic components
  • content of free silicic acid: 0
  • flexible
  • non-combustible according to DIN 4102 A1
  • REACH-compliant

Material

  • Almost pure silicate fibre is achieved, the SiO2-share is about 94-98 %
  • Exclusively made of 6 μ yarns

Areas of Application

  • Steel industry
  • general high temperature areas
  • Protection against liquid metal splashes, glowing open flames and flying sparks
