Motors must be protected against overloads, phase failure, and overheating:

The CEAG circuit breaker and manual motor starter offer phase failure protection, as well as thermal and electromagnetic tripping for reliable motor protection.

An optional undervoltage release or auxiliary contact complete the safety features.

The switch position is always indicated by the switch handle, virtually eliminating incorrect operation.

A special safety feature offered by the manual motor starter:

Can only be switched on locally – where the drive is located.

Operating current release for remote shutdown is optionally available.

CEAG manual motor starters have such precise tripping time that they are equally suitable for protecting Ex-e and Ex-d motors. just for safety.
