We're offering a wide assortment of sensors for industrial use - including CRIR E1 Commercial Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensor from Honeywell.
The CRIR E1 Commercial Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensor is a single channel, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor, which can be communicated with by UART protocol. Within the CRIR E1 is a sensing chamber with an infrared source at one end and a detector fitted with an optical filter at the other end. Commercial Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor is constructed with parameters of 400 ppm to 2000 ppm, up to 5000 ppm extended range.
Applications of CO2 sensors:
- HVAC, demand-controlled ventilation;
- Indoor air quality (IAQ) measurement installations;
- Air purification systems;
- Smart /IoT (Internet of Things) systems;
- as autonomous devices;
- alarm systems (SSWiN);
- household automation and smart systems;
- home gas furnaces and heaters;
- kitchens and bathrooms heated with gas e.g. cookers, water heaters;
- rooms, in which there are gas devices e.g. gas meters, gas containers, and storages;
- gas systems, portable gas heaters;
- garages with gas systems;
- school physics-chemistry classes, research institutions.
A CO2 sensor measures the level of carbon dioxide concentration in the room - thus we can provide safety and health to the people inside homes, commercial buildings, workplaces, and literally any type of building. Gas poisoning can be fatal, and the gas itself has no smell and is impossible to be detected just by ourselves, and that's why it's so important to use CO2 sensors.
