Machined seals

STACEM machines high-precision seals (tolerance of 0.025 mm on section width) for numerous applications (hydraulic, etc.) in a purpose-built air-conditioned machining room.



Seals are machined from all the elastomers used in our workshops, in all degrees of hardness and in all colours.

Numerous other thermoplastic materials are used such as nylon, PTFE and Delrin. These seals are checked using traditional methods (centring pieces, etc.) and also using 3-D optical measuring instruments.

We machine not only circular pieces with or without grooves, various profiles, but also bellows-type.
