General Information
The Ex-i marking tape is suitable for marking the intrinsically safe circuits according to DIN EN 60079-14.
Typical areas of application are, for example, the marking of cable ducts, control cabinets and cables that do not have a blue coating.
The marking tape contains three languages - German, English and French.

Explosion protection

  • The marking tape cannot become dangerously charged because the layer thickness for explosion groups IIA and IIB is < 2 mm. For explosion group IIC, the usability must be determined and confirmed individually.
  • The marking foil should not be used to cover an area of e.g. 50 x 50 cm or 1 m x 1 m completely.
