Power quality analyzer – what is it?
A power quality analyzer is a compact device designed to measure, record, and analyze the parameters of an electrical network. The operating principle of a power quality analyzer involves measuring basic parameters through four-quadrant energy measurement and also recording waveforms and disturbances in accordance with the EN 61000-4-30 power quality standard.
Power analyzers can be used in systems that utilize communication protocols such as Profibus DP, Modbus RTU, LON Works, and Ethernet – web server, Modbus TCP/IP.
