One of the product groups in our offer is the group of connectors for industrial applications. They are primarily used in the machinery industry, electrical engineering, energy sector, heavy industry, mines, steelworks, and foundries.
We offer connectors for cables from 1.5 mm² to 150 mm². The connectors can have screw, spring, or blade connections. We also supply connectors with IP67 protection rating and continuous operating temperature up to +125ºC and operating voltage up to 24 kV.
Connectors are electromechanical components designed to connect wires, thus forming a circuit. Industrial connectors are used, among others, in the electronics industry, control technology, power engineering, traction for measurement and communication purposes.
Manufacturers offer connectors for power supply, data transmission, and audiovisual applications with thousands of configurations. The main selection factor and the accuracy of matching the plug and socket is their geometry, which is regulated by national and international standards.

Connectors and cables for charging electric vehicles
Connectors and cables for charging electric vehicles are used for plug-in charging of electric vehicles and are the most widespread and easiest way to recharge the vehicle's energy. To achieve this, an electrical power connection and an appropriate device are required. A challenge of this charging method is the variety of charging standards depending on the region of the world and the voltage used in the charging process.
The following electric vehicle charging standards can be distinguished:
- CHadeMO – a DC charging standard originating from Asia, official designation is IEC 61296 Type 4. An example of a vehicle using this standard is the Nissan Leaf,
- Mennekes or Type 2 – the European standard allowing for both AC and DC charging, official designation IEC 62196 Type 2. An example is the Renault Zoe,
- CCS – a DC charging standard developed by modifying Type 2 with additional pins for DC charging. An example is the Porsche Mission E,
- Type 1 combo – a DC charging standard developed by modifying Type 1 with additional pins for DC charging. An example is the Chevrolet Spark,
- Type 1 – an AC charging standard originating from North America. An example is the Chevrolet Volt (American version),
- Type 3 – a standard initially intended for use in the European Union, but replaced by the more secure Type 2. An example includes mini electric vehicles sold before 2010,
- Tesla – a US-originated standard, incompatible with any of the above charging standards. An example is the Tesla WhiteStar.
Powerlock connectors
Powerlock connectors are used to transmit high currents (up to 800A) to mobile devices. They are most commonly used in generators, distribution boards, transformers, as well as wind and solar power plants. The connectors feature mechanical protection and color coding to prevent connection errors. The insulated contacts of the plug and socket eliminate accidental contact with live parts.
DIN rail connectors
We offer DIN rail connectors with screw clamps, fuse connectors, high-current connectors, connectors for transformer circuits, multi-pole connectors, connectors with spring clamps, blade clamp connectors, and accessories for DIN rail connectors. Their parameters are precisely specified, which significantly enhances operational safety.
Connectors for EX zone applications
EX connectors are connectors with specific requirements for explosive atmospheres. These connectors have an ATEX certificate, which confirms that the device or system is safe for use in explosion-hazard zones. ATEX stands for "Atmosphères Explosibles" and refers to European Union directives on explosion prevention. Dacpol offers a wide range of EX connectors in various designs: power connectors up to 680 A, with or without a switch, and 3/4/5-pole connectors up to 16A, 4/5-pole connectors up to 32A. For low-current applications or for transmitting control signals, we offer: M12 control connectors, DIN rail connectors typically used in EX enclosures and housings.
Sensor connectors
Industrial connectors for sensors are used in various types of capacitive, inductive, or optical sensors. These connectors enable quick connection and disconnection of the measuring or control element. Industrial plugs and sockets ensure the safety of the powered device thanks to quality construction, tightness, and vandal resistance. Their design also ensures safe and proper connection.
PCB connectors
PCB connectors are used to connect printed circuit boards to other electrical components. Available options include plug connectors or PCB board-to-board connectors. The connection can be made using clamp connections, screw connections, or soldered connections.
Battery connectors
Batteries and accumulators require various types of contact elements to connect their terminals with the electronics they power. In some cases, simple spring metal contacts soldered directly to the device’s PCB are sufficient. However, in many applications, specialized connectors are required to ensure not only the required current capacity but also mechanical reliability and protection against accidental short circuits.

Rotary connectors
Rotary connectors, also known as slip rings or rotary joints. Rotary connectors are used to transfer electrical signals – power, control, or measurement – to components of other devices that are in rotary motion. They are used in many branches of industry and serve to transmit various media such as compressed air, water, hydraulic oil, vacuum, or coolant. In the case of electrical rotary connectors, we can transmit control, power, and high currents up to 1500A as well as special electrical signals such as Ethernet or Profinet. We can supply rotary connectors tailored to the customer's specification, hybrid connectors combining electrical and pneumatic paths. We offer special versions such as fiber optic rotary joints, connectors for TV signals and cameras, military rotary connectors, mercury rotary connectors, and ATEX zone rotary connectors.
