PowerShield Battery Monitoring System

Battery monitoring allows you to predict failures in advance and ensures maximum battery life. To ensure continuous power and trouble-free battery operation, the weakest cells/blocks are located and replaced before the entire system fails.
The Powershield system is a comprehensive solution (software and hardware) for monitoring battery banks, tailored precisely to specific requirements.

  • Supported cell types: VRLA, VLA, Ni-Cd
  • Nominal voltages of monoblocks: 2V, 4V, 6V, 8V, 12V, and 16V
  • Connection of up to 8 strings
  • Data is available in real time
  • Remote access
  • Email alerts can be set
  • Event logging
  • User-friendly graphical interface

PowerShield collects the following data:

  • Monoblock voltage
  • Monoblock internal impedance
  • Monoblock temperature
  • Ambient temperature
  • String current
  • String current ripple
  • Entire battery voltage

System components include:

  • mSensor – measures voltages, internal resistances, and temperatures of two adjacent monoblocks
  • Hub – collects data from all mSensors
  • Controller – the heart of the system – processes data, archives it, and provides external communication
  • Link – software with a user-friendly interface, allows viewing data in real time, generates reports, etc.
