Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

We offer a wide range of products and solutions in the field of transformers designed for power transistors – for controlling transistors such as MOSFET, IGBT, etc., operating at high frequencies.

Our offer includes, among others, pulse transformers for controlling thyristors, triacs, and IGBT transistors, as well as current transformers and cores for building transformers and chokes.

Transformers for controlling thyristors and triacs – characteristics

Transformers for controlling thyristors and triacs are manufactured for operating voltages between windings of 380 V, 500 V, and 750 V, and are made in several winding configurations – with one primary and one secondary winding or with two secondary windings. These types of transformers are characterized by very low capacitance between the primary and secondary windings, and thus high resistance to uncontrolled thyristor triggering. They can be used for controlling thyristors in DC circuits, in AC circuits operating at mains frequency, or in converter circuits operating at elevated frequencies up to several kilohertz, e.g., in induction heating generators.

Pulse transformers – characteristics

Pulse transformers for controlling power transistors are designed to control power transistors such as MOSFET or IGBT working at high frequencies. Depending on the transformer type, their cutoff frequency ranges from 20 kHz to 500 kHz. These transformers are encapsulated in special resin, forming a rectangular block with leads for through-hole mounting on printed circuit boards.

Current transformers

Current transformers can be used to measure currents at 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies in the range of 25A to 600A. There are two variants of such transformers: with one secondary winding or one secondary winding with two taps. The version with a tapped secondary winding is especially useful in circuits with three current measurement ranges.

Cores for building transformers and chokes

These cores are made from nanocrystalline and amorphous materials (from HITACHI: types METGLAS, METGLAS MAGNAPERM, METGLAS MICROLITE) or amorphous materials (from VAC: types VITROVAC 6030F and VITROVAC 500F) in the shape of C-cores or toroids. Additionally, we also offer powdered and amorphous cores from AMS. They are made in the shape of C-cores or toroids. Transformers and chokes with power ratings above 100 kW and frequencies up to 500 kHz can be built from them.
