Technical and Economic Benefits:

  • Tin plating by dipping in solder without the need for mechanical isolation
  • Insulation between the primary and secondary windings is not required
  • Leakage current and creepage distance are contained within the wire
  • Significantly faster winding time
  • Available in small quantities



Construction:

  • Copper wire Enameled (magnet wire) (0.2 - 1.0 mm, AWG 14-24) + triple insulation according to IEC 60950.
  • Other diameters available upon request.



Insulation material:

  • ETFE (TEFZEL©)
  • Triple insulation according to IEC 60950, Annex C and Annex U.
  • UL approval no. e257248.
  • Max. operating voltage 600Vrms
  • Material group “F” 155°C
  • Minimum breakdown voltage 3000V

Application examples:

  • High-frequency transformers
  • High-frequency chokes
  • Switched-mode power supplies
