Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

We offer a wide range of fuse inserts in various designs: blade, tubular, screw, and threaded. We also offer accessories such as: fuse operation sensors, micro switches for operation sensors, and fuse bases. For tubular fuses, we also have DIN rail mountable bases.

We offer, among others:

  • Accessories for fuses in European standard,
  • Screw-in fuses DIN 43653,
  • Fast blade fuses DIN,
  • Fast threaded fuses.

What are fuses used for?

Fuses are used to protect electrical devices from the effects of short circuits and overloads. They are equipped with fuse elements that melt when an overload or short circuit occurs in the protected circuit. All fuses have a similar construction and consist of: a fuse element, filler, housing, and terminals. The fuse element has appropriately shaped constrictions that determine its time-current characteristic and is welded or soldered to the fuse terminals. The fuse element is surrounded by a filler that extinguishes the electric arc. The filler is usually special quartz sand. The entire assembly is placed in a ceramic housing called the body.

Applications of fuses:

  • cable protection;
  • protection of electrical devices;
  • protection of transformers;
  • protection of electric motors;
  • protection of capacitors;
  • protection of semiconductor power devices: diodes, IGBT transistors, thyristors;
  • protection of electronic devices: soft starters, inverters, rectifiers;
  • protection of MV transformers, voltage transformers, and MV motors.
