Passive devices for industry

Passive devices are components that do not generate electrical energy. The basic division of passive components into product groups is:

The above components are characterized by the fact that they consume electrical energy. In the case of resistors, the energy is converted into heat, while in capacitors, it is stored in the electric field. In the case of coils, the energy is stored in the magnetic field around the coil.
