Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

What are heat shrink tubes?

Heat shrink sleeve, heat shrink hose, polfit, heat shrink, heat shrink tube is a shape-memory elastomer that has been cold-stretched. When heated with a burner or heat gun to a certain temperature, usually 115˚C, it tries to return to its original shape, thus taking the shape of the insulated object. The tube shrinks forming an insulating layer that protects against mechanical damage, corrosion, and electric shock. Tubes are available in various thicknesses, diameters, and shrink ratios. Additionally, it is worth considering purchasing fire-resistant or UV-resistant tubes depending on the application in which they are used.

Types of heat shrink hoses

We distinguish the following types of heat shrink tubes:

- RCKH1 – thin-walled tube with adhesive made of halogen-free material, UV-resistant with a shrink ratio of 3:1 or 4:1, used in applications requiring moisture protection;
- RPKH1 – thickened tube with adhesive, UV-resistant, made of halogen-free material. Used for restoring insulation and coatings of damaged or joined power cables;
- Low flammability tubes – used in places with increased fire safety requirements;
- Heat shrink tubes with high chemical and temperature resistance;
- RD, RDK and RDM tubes – thick-walled sealed with or without adhesive, used for protecting lighting poles and masts as well as pipelines;
- RGB tubes – thick-walled with adhesive and high shrink ratio (6:1), used for insulating objects with large diameter differences;
- RPM heat shrink tubes – thickened with sealing mastic, used for protecting pipe joints.
