VENTILATION AND FILTER ASSEMBLY - VB SERIES

Description:
Our VB Cover ventilation and filter assemblies are sets of VH Cover honeycomb attenuating vents and removable dust filter panels containing membraneless polyurethane filter media. The vent is specified in the usual manner and includes, within its mounting frame, additional fasteners (usually threaded inserts) that are used to retain the dust filter in the frame.
The dust filter can be mounted on either side of the ventilation panel – care should be taken when specifying the interface gasket type to ensure it is conductive – if necessary. The filter media is available with openings ranging from 30 to 60 pores per inch as standard, but others can be specified. Furthermore, the filter media is secured with a woven mesh.

Application:
Honeycomb vent panels and membraneless polyurethane dust filters are typically used inside electronic equipment cabinets and enclosures, particularly where dust or foreign matter can enter but heavier woven aluminum mesh is not required. Filters mounted inside the equipment may have quick-connect fittings and do not require a shielded gasket. In applications where the silencer vent is mounted directly to the housing, dust filters mounted externally to the device do not require a shielded gasket.

Tolerance:
Overall dimensions: ± 0.8mm
Holes: ± 0.5mm
Mounting: with accessories ± 0.2mm
