Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Heat exchangers - applications
Heat exchangers are used in many applications, both in industrial heating and cooling sectors and, for example, in domestic applications.
Their use primarily allows for increasing the efficiency of devices that are part of the heating system. High temperature reduces the durability of electrical and electronic equipment – causing failures, damaging power systems and semiconductor components.
In home conditions, heat exchangers also help save on heating and cooling costs of the building.
Air-to-air heat exchangers are mainly used when the ambient temperature is lower than the internal temperature inside the cabinets.
Water-to-air heat exchangers are particularly useful for cooling cabinets located in extreme external conditions and when there is access to external sources of cold water, e.g., from water coolers, at least in foundries, chemical industry, or machining industry.
What is a heat exchanger?
It is a device that allows heat exchange between, among others, fluids that have different temperatures – through the phenomena of convection and conduction. In industrial installations and construction, plate heat exchangers or shell-and-tube heat exchangers are most often used – heat exchange takes place between at least two fluids. Heat exchangers are part of central heating (CH) and domestic hot water (DHW) installations. They are also often used in solar heating and geothermal systems. Heat exchangers can operate in continuous or non-continuous systems. The first allows a steady heat exchange, while the second allows unsteady exchange and provides heat exchange either once or periodically.
