LORD 310 A/B Black is a modified, thixotropic, two-component epoxy adhesive system used to bond a wide range of pre-treated metals, pre-treated rubbers, polyurethanes, and plastics. Originally developed for SMC bonding, LORD 310 is used to bond disk drives, oil well equipment, automotive body panels and spoilers, and vibration damping components. LORD 310 adhesive can be cured at room temperature or heat-cured for faster processing.

  • Durable – provides load-bearing properties equal to or greater than the bonded materials.
  • Environmentally friendly – contains no solvents, is non-flammable, and is virtually odorless.
  • Weather-resistant – resistant to moisture, solar radiation, and thermal cycling.
  • Temperature-resistant – operates at temperatures from -40°F to +400°F (-40°C to +204°C); Withstands secondary baking up to 400°F (204°C).
  • Chemical resistant – resistant to dilute acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and hydrocarbons; anti-corrosion processes, including phosphating and ELPO (electrophoretic coating), do not affect the adhesive or bond strength.
