8 WINDOW SHIELDING

8.1 INTRODUCTION

DACPOL, in cooperation with OPTICAL FILTERS, offers complete window shielding solutions. Viz-Bond® bonding technology allows for excellent window transparency without air bubbles, impurities, filings, or dust. Viz-Bond® technology cures the material in the wavelength range of 390-500 nm, and therefore can be cured by a polarizer and materials containing UV inhibitors.



This technology complies with MIL-STD-810g / ASTM G151 standards - solar chamber. Mechanical resistance tests of the final window were carried out in accordance with the MIL-STD - 3122 standard (1" steel ball dropped from a 20-25" height), and vibration tests in accordance with MIL-STD-810F-514.5. Depending on the application and needs, various technologies are available for manufacturing complete windows and glass.
