PSPI */10 kA - Energy Class 1 (discharge) - surge arresters designed to protect high-voltage distribution networks, transformers, switchgear, and HV distribution cables from atmospheric and switching overvoltages. Protection against atmospheric or switching overvoltages in AC networks and transients. Suitable for protecting transformers, cables, motors, switches, disconnectors, and other high-voltage devices. The functional component of the arresters is a column of varistors sized for the maximum continuous operating voltage Uc. The housing material exhibits high resistance to surface currents resulting from charge flow or electric arcs. It has hydrophobic properties and demonstrates excellent resistance to atmospheric conditions, pollution, and UV radiation. Cover lids, connection screws, nuts, and terminals are made of stainless steel. The design and technical parameters of the PSP series surge arresters comply with the standards ČSN EN 60099‑4 ed. 3: 2018 and IEC 60099‑4: 2014.
