General Description:

SCX1 series level sensors are reliable and versatile devices that utilize the principle of measuring the damping of resonant vibrations generated by a piezoelectric system. The device utilizes a precisely tuned mechanical resonator whose natural frequency changes upon contact with bulk or granular material. Detection is based on detecting a decrease in amplitude or a phase shift of the vibration signal, allowing for the identification of the medium's presence independent of conductivity, humidity, or dielectric constant.
