The DACPOL Supplier and Business Partner Code of Conduct describes the basic standards of ethics and conduct to ensure a sustainable supply chain.

DACPOL supports the protection of international human rights by observing the applicable labor law and international standards of business ethics. We also care about the protection of the environment, both in our own operations and in our Business Partners.

This Code of Conduct reflects the values that guide DACPOL and which we expect our Suppliers and Business Partners to adhere to:

Compliance with the law

Compliance with legal regulations and international standards, including environmental protection regulations.

Observance of human rights and work standards

Ensure that all internationally accepted human rights are respected by preventing and avoiding complicity in human rights violations, paying special attention to respecting human rights for vulnerable entities or groups of entities such as women, children or migrant workers.

  • Prohibition of forced labor

No tolerance for any form of forced labor, including prison labor, subsistence labor, wage labor, slave labor or any form of human trafficking.

  • Child labor prohibited

The minimum working age requirements laid down in national legislation and international agreements (UN Declaration of Human Rights, ILO Convention) must be respected.

  • Non-discrimination and respect for employees

Promote equal opportunities and equal treatment of workers regardless of skin color, race, nationality, ethnicity, political affiliation, social origin, disability, gender, sexual identity and orientation, marital status, religious beliefs or age.

Not to tolerate any type of unacceptable treatment of individuals, such as psychological abuse, sexual harassment or discrimination, including by means of gestures, language and physical contact of a sexual nature, coercion, threats, insults or names.

  • Working hours, salaries and benefits for employees

Comply with all applicable working hours laws, including overtime laws. Provide wages and benefits provided for by relevant national legislation, including minimum wage legislation, and consistent with existing practice in local labor markets.

Recognize the right of workers to form or join trade unions and to bargain collectively.

Not to discriminate against or favor members of workers' organizations or trade unions.

  • Employee health and safety

Provide employees with a safe workplace, complying with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations.

Organize training for employees, providing them with access to knowledge on health and safety at work.

Environmental Protection

The applicable statutory and international standards for environmental protection must be complied with.

Minimize environmental pollution by introducing constant improvements in environmental protection.

Fair market practices

  • Fair Competition, Antitrust and Intellectual Property Rights

Comply with national and international competition laws and do not engage in any price fixing, market or customer sharing agreements, or bid rigging agreements with competitors.

Respect the intellectual property rights of others.

  • Counteracting corruption and bribery

Not to tolerate any form of corruption or bribery or to engage, directly or indirectly, in any form of corruption or bribery, and not to give, offer or promise financial benefits to public officials or private sector contractors to influence business activities or obtaining an unfair advantage. This includes refraining from making or accepting improper expediting payments.

  • Conflicts of Interest

Avoid any conflicts of interest that may affect the business relationship, even situations that give the appearance of such a conflict of interest, and / or disclose such conflicts internally and to DACPOL.

  • Counteracting money laundering and terrorist financing

Not to facilitate directly or indirectly money laundering or terrorist financing.

  • Data protection

Process personal data in a confidential and responsible manner, respect the privacy of all individuals and ensure effective protection of personal data and their use only for lawful purposes.

  • Export control and customs clearance

Comply with applicable export control and customs laws.

Responsible sourcing of minerals

Make reasonable efforts to avoid the use of raw materials in their products from conflict-affected and high-risk areas and contributing to human rights violations, corruption, financing of armed groups or similar negative impacts.

Supply chain

By undertaking cooperation, accepting an order for execution or placing an order - Suppliers and Business Partners confirm that their activities are subject to the provisions of this Code of Conduct.

Suppliers and Business Partners undertake to make every effort to comply with the principles set out in this Code of Conduct with regard to the entire supply chain.
