Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

CWT Series Rogowski Coils – Overview and General Applications

The CWT series from PEM UK consists of versatile, wideband “clip-around” Rogowski coils designed for alternating current (AC) measurements in laboratory applications, power analyzers, and data acquisition systems.

The coils are available in CWTLF (low-frequency) and CWTHF (high-frequency) versions, offering a frequency range from very low values (below 0.1 Hz) up to tens of MHz.

Key Features and Advantages of CWT Rogowski Coils

  • Wide measurement bandwidth – from <0.1 Hz up to 50 MHz depending on the model.
  • Low distortion and high linearity – the absence of a magnetic core prevents saturation, ensuring highly linear performance even at high currents.
  • Minimal circuit interference – Rogowski coils have very low inductance, resulting in minimal loading on the measured circuit (in the pH range).
  • LF and HF versions
  • CWTLF: optimized for low-frequency measurements, with extended low-frequency bandwidth and reduced phase shift at low frequencies.
  • CWTHF: better immunity to electrostatic interference, stable in electrically noisy environments, and improved high-frequency characteristics.
  • Dynamic performance – capable of measuring fast signal changes, transient signals, and high di/dt values.
  • Insulation and safety – coils are insulated for high voltages (up to 10 kV in standard CWT models).
  • Construction flexibility – available in different lengths, connector types, and ultra-thin versions for tight spaces.
  • Standards and compliance – compliant with EMC standards (e.g., EN 61326-1) and safety standards (IEC 61010, etc.).

Practical Applications of CWT Rogowski Coils

  • Power system diagnostics, inverters, converters – analysis of current waveforms, harmonics, and pulses.
  • Transient and short-circuit measurements, current measurements in high-interference environments.
  • Research laboratories, development of semiconductor devices, pulsed power systems.
  • Measurement of small currents in the presence of large DC components (e.g., DC systems with AC disturbances).
