The roots of Danotherm Electric A/S reach up to the year 1919, however today the company is a global distributor of high quality power resistors for the electronic for wind power and the telecommunication industry. The main factory of Danotherm is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, but they also own units in Stargard, Poland and two factories nearby Milan and Turin, Italy. Products of Danotherm are used in many different industrial areas e.g. in connection with power electronic equipment they are exploited for: snubbers, voltage dividers, charge and de-charge resistors. In wind turbines they are also used as filter and high energy dump resistors in Low Voltage Ride Through applications. Danotherm works under the Qplus standards - Quality Managament System certified by OTIS. This qualification is the base for partnership cooperation and for achieving excellent product quality. The structure and focus of QPLUS is similar to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. They also comply to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Certificate of Compliance - trusted source across the globe for product safety compliance.
