Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

Electrically insulated module is a power semiconductor device containing one or two active elements electrically connected inside a single housing, with the current path separated from the thermal path.

Reliable electrically insulated modules

Inside one housing, there can be structures of single diodes or thyristors, diode and thyristor pairs, two diodes, or two thyristors. The current paths of semiconductor devices are galvanically isolated from the housing, and the current terminals are made as screw clamps. Heat generated during current conduction is dissipated through an electrically non-conductive layer and the housing to the heat sink. A heat sink is electrically isolated from the current path, which allows mounting modules at different potentials on the same heat sink.

DACPOL offers the following types of electrically insulated modules:

  • diode – standard, for currents from 40A to 1070A and voltages from 100V to 2000V
  • fast diode – for currents from 40A to 250A and voltages from 100V to 2500V
  • diode-diode – standard, for currents from 60A to 600A and voltages from 400V to 2400V
  • fast diode-diode – for currents from 240A to 450A and voltages from 400V to 2600V
  • thyristor – standard, for currents from 50A to 800A and voltages from 100V to 2600V
  • thyristor-diode – standard, for currents from 27A to 500A and voltages from 400V to 2500V
  • fast thyristor-diode – for currents from 71A to 200A and voltages from 200V to 1300V
  • thyristor-thyristor – standard, for currents from 27A to 570A and voltages from 400V to 2400V
  • fast thyristor-thyristor – for currents from 71A to 200A and voltages from 200V to 1200V

High-voltage modules

  • diode – standard, for currents from 175A to 950A and voltages from 3000V to 4400V
  • diode-diode – standard, for currents from 270A to 600A and voltages from 3000V to 4000V
  • thyristor – standard, for currents from 240A to 530A and voltages from 2800V to 3600V
  • thyristor-diode – standard, for currents from 140A to 230A and voltages from 2600V to 3200V
  • thyristor-thyristor – standard, current 240A and voltages from 2800V to 3200V

Basic features of electrically insulated blocks

  • separation of the current path from the thermal path,
  • electrically insulated base,
  • compact housing,
  • easy mounting on a heat sink,
  • possibility to mount several electrically insulated modules on the same heat sink
