A complete set of LED luminaires replacing conventional light sources from 100 W to 600 W (Zones 1, 2, 21, 22)
The new modular PXLED LED floodlight series is suitable for almost any type of lighting application in hazardous areas – both indoors and outdoors. It is designed for industries such as the chemical, petrochemical, marine, gas, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, power plants, paper mills, wastewater treatment plants, and many others. PXLED withstands vibration, dust, moisture, corrosive atmospheres, and extreme temperatures. It comes standard with a U-shaped bracket for ceiling and wall mounting.
The high-efficiency LED module (**110 lumens/W**) saves up to **70%** energy compared to conventional HID lamps.
All PXLED floodlights from the 10L to 30L series feature a **multi-channel driver**. Each LED module has its own power channel. Even if one circuit fails, the remaining modules continue to operate.
The PXLED series' modular design allows you to precisely adjust the light output. There are six sizes to choose from, from **5,000 lm to over 30,000 lm** – in 5,000 lm increments. There's no need to oversize or undersize your lighting project.
The rotating stainless steel bracket with adjustable angle allows for easy positioning of the floodlight. A mounting screw secures the position. The bracket accepts up to five M13 screws for secure mounting.
The kit includes two cable glands and a large connection space. Ex-e connectors enable through-wiring without the need for additional junction boxes. Ex-e terminals accept wires up to 6 mm².
Both internal and external PE terminals allow for virtually any cable routing technique.
High ambient temperatures can raise the temperature of the LED chip to levels above the allowable limit. This would significantly shorten its service life. Eaton has implemented an innovative housing design with large cooling channels and an optimized heat dissipation system. Tests conducted under the harshest conditions have shown that the LED chip temperature always remains below critical values. The LED's designed lifespan (**L80**) exceeds **60,000 hours**, even at +55°C ambient temperature.
The Eaton LED driver is specifically designed for use in harsh environments. According to EN 61000-4-5, the electronic device must withstand a surge of 1 kV between L-N. The Eaton LED driver can withstand up to **4 kV** between L-N and L-PE. All self-heating electronic components are oversized to ensure maximum maintenance-free service life. The driver is Ex-certified in the "q" version and is installed in an Ex-e compartment. In the unlikely event of a failure, the driver can be easily replaced without having to replace the entire luminaire.
In addition to various luminous flux levels, the PXLED series also offers a variety of light distributions. Wide and narrow beam angles are possible thanks to specially designed LED lenses. Asymmetric light distributions are also available for special applications. With a light transmittance factor of over 90%, the system achieves an efficiency of over 110 lm/W.
