Stud-Type Thyristors (SCRs)

SCRs are made from glass-passivated circuits and assembled in highly reliable, robust, hermetically sealed housings. They are characterized by high mechanical strength and stability in adverse environmental conditions.

These devices are characterized by high reliability and exceptional stability at high temperatures. They have excellent surge current resistance and low thermal resistance.

SCRs are used in applications involving high currents and voltages, such as AC switches, bridge rectifier converters, DC motor controls, welding machines, AC motor drives, soft starters, and others.

Current ranges start at 25 A and extend up to 170 A, with voltages up to 1600 V. The devices are available in Stud Base housings, with metric and UNF threads.

Case and thread dimensions can be customized
