3.6 SOFT knitted mesh gaskets

Description:
Soft knitted mesh gaskets are specifically designed for shielding applications requiring a low-compression gasket. A single layer of special fine Monel wire woven onto a very low-density polyurethane foam provides an excellent combination of EMI shielding and mechanical properties. A pressure-sensitive adhesive seal is available upon request (P/N ending with "AD").

Improved flexibility combined with dust and moisture sealing:
  • Excellent damping properties
  • Supplied in one piece on reels or cut to length and terminated - to customer specifications
  • Flame retardant according to UL94-HF1
  • Common materials:
    • Low density foam (LF)
    • Monel wire ø 0.09 mm (MO)


Mechanical tolerance:
up to 6.4 mm +0.8 -0.8 mm
>6.4 mm +1.2 -1.2 mm
