Elastomer Conductive Adhesive
The conductive adhesive is supplied as a paste that does not require mixing. It achieves its properties at room temperature.
Conductive Adhesive Parameters
- electrically conductive
- non-corrosive
- single component – no mixing required
- excellent adhesion to various substrates
Instructions for Use
The surface to be bonded must be clean, dry, and degreased with common solvents used for substrate cleaning, such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, xylene, and isopropyl alcohol. The adhesive should be applied directly to the cleaned surface. If the product is to be used as a binder, it should be evenly spread on both surfaces and held pressed until it sets. The full conductive and sealing properties of the conductive adhesive are achieved after the full drying time.
Safety
WARNING! Contact of the adhesive with eyes or skin may be irritating. In such cases, excess adhesive should be wiped off with a dry cloth or towel and hands washed with industrial cleaning products designed for this purpose (e.g., paste).
Cleaning
Uncured conductive silicone adhesive can be removed with, for example, acetone.
Storage
The storage period for both unopened and opened adhesive is one (1) year from the shipping date, provided that the products are stored in a dry, tightly closed, original container below 23°C (73.4°F).
Standard Containers
- 0.5 fl. oz. (metal tube)
- 1.0 fl. oz. (metal tube or cartridge)
