Pendant Ex Luminaires for High-Pressure Discharge Lamps
The EV, dHLS, and EVZ series of luminaires are designed for high-pressure discharge lamps. The gear and light sources are housed in a single housing. The explosion-proof housings are connected using an easy-to-install Ex-e connector. The protective cover is made of borosilicate glass, highly resistant to impact and high temperatures. All external components are made of stainless steel.
Light source replacement is achieved by opening a PTFE-coated connecting ring. Both the diffuser and the ring are hinged for easy access. Depending on the model, the luminaires are certified for operation in temperatures ranging from -45°C to +55°C.
The EV series is suitable for use with sodium vapor and high-pressure metal halide lamps.
Thanks to their durability and safety, EV luminaires have been used for many years in chemical plants and offshore platforms to illuminate large areas or objects. The luminaire can be equipped with a glass dome or an optional external reflector.
The dHLS model is certified for use in hazardous areas (Zones 1 and 2) and is compatible with 250W and 400W high-pressure lamps.
EVZ luminaires are available in two versions:
They can be mounted on a wall or pole using a swivel bracket. Two external spotlights and a mesh cover are optionally available.
