Cores and Other Inductive Components

Fluxtrol Incorporated - a merger of Fluxtrol Manufacturing, as well as a the owner of the Centre for Induction Technology - was established in 1981 by Robert S. Ruffini, and started off as a company specialized in development and manufacture of soft magnetic composites for magnetic flux control in induction systems.

Centre for Induction Technology (CIT) was founded in 1993 and its aim was education and promotion of induction technologies. The group includes several induction heating experts and engineers.

The company operates globally in over 50 countries and services such applications as automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, special metallurgy, biomedical and food industry.

They manufacture, among others, cores, inductive components and magnetic field concentrators. The company also uses high technology solutions, such as magnetic controllers, magnetic flux control in induction heating, and developed such processes and materials like Fluxtrol 100, Fluxtrol A, Fluxtrol 50, Ferrotron 559H, Alphaform LF and MF.

Apart from providing service, supply, manufacturing and deliveries, the company also conducts many research studies and spreads awareness and knowledge about the products, industry and technical training.  Their areas of research include magnetic flux concentration and control, materials for magnetic flux control, properties of magnetic flux controllers, induction coil design, commercial computer simulation, technical consulting and cooperative induction technology development.
