Foam gasket covered with a foil series 6800

Seal designed for connection to zinc and aluminum plates

6800 series seals are an economical solution to the HF seal, available in a wide range of sizes. This is a very effective combination for zinc plates and aluminum structures.

All seals are supplied with conductive self-adhesive tape.

The 6800 seal is made of neoprene or PVC foam covered with a reinforced alloy-based foil. This guarantees excellent shielding parameters.

For special applications, special shapes of the foam core, conductive foil, or shielding material are available.

Advantages:
- self-adhesive EMC seal
- easy installation, can be cut with scissors
- good water resistance
- seal can be cut (screw holes)
- roll lengths: 50, 100, 250, or 1000 m
- low clamping force
- deflection up to 50%

- Can be made as a self-extinguishing UL94V-0 foam
- Can be used with an EPDM rubber core
- Can be used with a silicone sponge resistant to high temperatures up to 220°C
