The rotary lock is used to lock power circuits and control circuits. Turning the key opens the contacts of the contact module.
It is available in recessed (flush-mounted) and surface-mounted (in IP55 housing) versions.
The system consists of a rotary lock with RTK contact, which controls the control circuit of the machine, and an NX access control lock, which allows entry into the hazardous area. During normal operation of the machine (motor powered), the operation key A is locked in the RTK lock, and the door leading to the danger zone is closed and locked.
To access the danger zone:
1. the operator releases the operation key A from the RTK lock, which turns off the power to the machine.
2. key A is locked in the NX access control lock, which unlocks the latch and allows access to the zone.
3. as long as the door remains open, the A key is locked in the lock - the machine cannot be started.
4. To restart the machine, the operator follows the same steps in reverse order.
