XSOL - Access control lock

The XSOL access control lock is a keyed lock designed to secure access to sliding and hinged doors. The lock's housing is made of stainless steel, making it ideal for applications in harsh environments, corrosive conditions and high mechanical stress. The XSOL lock is used in the cement and aggregate industry, mining, iron and steel industry and the energy sector.

APPLICATION

A typical application of the XSOL access control lock with a single key is blocking partial access to a hazardous area. The XSOL access control lock is part of a safety system and ensures that the machine is shut down before access to the danger zone is gained. The system consists of an RTK rotary lock that breaks the machine's safety circuit when the key is turned and removed. This key can then be transferred to the XSOL access control lock to unlock the hitch. The machine cannot be restarted until the striker is in place. To do so, the latch mechanism must be depressed and rotated. Only then can the operating key be released and transferred back to the RTK rotary lock.
