In addition to the most commonly supplied non-explosive terminal, control, and distribution cabinets, our product range also includes non-explosive cable bushings/insulators.
Non-explosive cable bushings with a type M…x thread are designed to connect electrical or optical devices located in two separate parts of a non-explosive enclosure in Group I and II devices.
This primarily applies to the connection of an "Ex d" chamber and a connection chamber in an "Ex e" protected version. A connection between two separate "Ex d" enclosures is also possible.
Non-explosive cable bushings/insulators type M…x. They are designed as an Ex element, intended for the installation of electrical equipment in flameproof enclosures.
The cable glands are certified as flameproof enclosures I M2 / II 2G Ex d I/IIC Gb Tx, or I M2 / II 2G Ex de I/IIC Gb Tx (applies to M.S1xM cabinets) with a threaded sleeve.
The gland housing and the wall of the flameproof enclosure create gaps with the appropriate parameters (number of threads, pitch, tolerance).
They are manufactured with threads M10x1; M12x1.5; M16x1 - NEW; M16x1.5; M24x1.5, M25x1.5, M32x1.5; M33x1.5; M36x1.5; M38x1.5; M42x1.5. The threaded length is customized to the customer's specifications.
Cable bushings are manufactured in the following versions:
- with coiled cables from 1 to 45 cables in a single housing
• Cross-section from 0.35 mm2 to 70 mm2 – NEW• for current loads up to 325A
• Cable bushings supplied for voltages up to 30kV; the offer is subject to availability of cable types for temperatures from -60°C.
- with a screw pin and M6 to M12 thread, for current loads up to 227A.
- with flat cables
- with fiber optic cables
- with coaxial cables
- with computer cables – NEW
- with Faston connector – NEW
The maximum operating temperature range for both design solutions: -60°C to+115°C, is determined by the cable used.
