Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. DACPOL offers products that are not in stock for the following reasons: DACPOL currently has a large number of electronic components in stock and adds new products every day, however, tens of thousands of additional components and their various variants are available from our suppliers. Even though it is unreasonable to have all these products in stock due to the limited sales, we believe that it is in the best interest of our customers to make them available. Our goal is to inform customers about the maximum number of products available and enable them to make decisions based on specifications, prices, availability, required minimums and our technical advice. Please note that selecting the "In Stock" checkbox may limit the display to only products available for delivery straight from the shelf.

Single-Phase Power Transducers

In the permanent offer of DACPOL in the field of electrical measurement, we have a wide range of power transducers, including single-phase power transducers with Modbus RTU communication. Power transducers, like current transformers, are very useful for measuring high current levels – they ensure reliability and safe operation of many devices.

  • Single-phase through-type power meters S6XM and S9XM can measure current up to 300 A AC/DC, operating similarly to a current transformer, and voltage up to 1000 V.
  • Thanks to the built-in Modbus RTU interface, measurement data can be transmitted at a speed of 115200 baud via an RS485 connector.
  • They are ideal for measurements in RES installations, Smart Grid systems, and LED lighting due to their ability to measure harmonic content (THD).
  • In 3-phase installations, they also enable measurement in the Aron configuration.

The DACPOL offer also includes other products in the electrical measurement category, such as shunts, probes, meters, transformers, and other power transducers.

What is a Current Transformer and How Does It Work?

It is a device that enables the measurement of high current levels using meters with lower measurement ranges. In the power industry, it is often necessary to know the values of supply voltages and currents flowing in powered circuits, which is why a current transformer can be useful and enables the measurement of high currents and voltages using meters with lower ranges. Thanks to the galvanic isolation of the measurement circuit from the main high-voltage path provided by transformers (often also referred to as measuring transformers), the entire process is carried out safely.

We distinguish between current and voltage transformers – depending on the type of physical quantity being transformed.

Current transformers are divided into: universal current transformers for busbars and cables/for cables; with split core; with primary winding; three-phase; for protection; for billing with energy companies; with transducer.

Current Transducer – Applications

  • For proportionally changing high current levels to lower values.
  • To extend the measurement range of ammeters.
  • Measurements using meters with a small range.
  • Galvanic isolation of instruments from the monitored circuit.
  • Allowing instruments to be placed at a great distance from the monitored circuit.
