Products that are marked "On Order" in the "Available Quantity" column are usually not in stock. Such products are available for purchase, however, due to their limited customer base, they usually have higher minimum quantities. A shunt is a special resistor that allows the measurement of high current values. It is used for measuring direct and alternating current (depending on the meter used). There are internal shunts - built into the meter, for measuring small currents of several to a few dozen amperes, and external shunts - for measuring current from several dozen amperes (15 A) to several thousand amperes.

A shunt has four terminals: two (external) for connecting the current path and two (internal) for measuring the voltage drop. It works together with a millivoltmeter connected to the (internal) terminals measuring the voltage drop across the shunt.
