Current transformers with a split core, such as the TQ120, are intended for installation in places where conventional transformers cannot be used, eliminating the need to disconnect the circuit during installation. This design facilitates installation, allows easy movement of the device between buses or wires, and enables the use of a single transformer for multiple measurement points.
The TQ120 is a compact current transformer with an openable core, ideal for low-voltage systems. Its installation is simple thanks to the possibility of removing the upper part of the transformer entirely, which increases ease of operation and installation. Transformers can be installed close to each other – only 120 mm spacing between phases is required. The TQ120 performs well in both new and existing installations, offering accurate current measurement and high reliability.
