Relays monitoring critical values ​​of physical quantities play an important role in automation systems. The most common are temperature and level monitoring relays. Typical controllers have analog and binary inputs. In the case of monitoring physical quantities, a dedicated input module must be purchased. When using monitoring relays, we build a more universal system.

The temperature monitoring relays have standard PTC detectors which increase their resistance rapidly when the appropriate temperature is exceeded. They are used to protect the windings of motors and transformers.
