The conductive non-silicone sealant and gap filler is a polymer material similar to conductive silicone sealants, but because it is polymer-based, it is free from silicone. It can be painted and offers other advantages in various industries. It is designed for easy application to connectors, joints, or small gaps in sheet metal enclosures. It cures at room temperature, creating a highly conductive elastomeric seal that has good adhesion to most commonly used materials. Once fully cured, it helps prevent water ingress and enhances EMI shielding. The conductive sealant and gap filler offer excellent resistance to high temperatures and long-term aging. The fillers used in these materials ensure a reliable low-impedance connection between metal surfaces. Different fillers we can use help ensure good galvanic compatibility with various alloys in wet or humid environments.
To determine the type and size of the required material, use the material code and container size as a suffix. For example, for a 310cc cartridge with nickel-graphite sealant, the part number will be “GFNCP 310”
