The JFR3 FMCW radar level transmitter is a non-contact measurement device suitable for measuring liquid levels in most tanks. It is easy to install, easy to maintain, and can be used in corrosive applications. Its high precision and stability make it widely used in liquid level detection and industrial process control.
FMCW radar (JFR) uses a high-frequency scanning method (in the GHz range); electromagnetic waves are transmitted from an antenna to the target being measured and then reflected back to the receiver over time. During this time, a frequency difference appears, which can be further calculated to obtain the distance from the transmitter tip to the target being measured. The FineTek FMCW radar uses K-band frequency scanning, with a measurement bandwidth of approximately 1 GHz. This frequency difference is processed by a fast Fourier transform (FFT), which allows for accurate differentiation of the main signal from background noise or echoes. The use of a phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit ensures high measurement accuracy and reliability.
